Art That Tells Your Story

I'm Kara, the artist behind Kara Otis Wall Art & Design.

I create intricate wallscapes, custom finishes and hand-painted designs that evoke the look and feel of wallpaper, turning walls into works of art. My style leans toward refined whimsy, layering detail, texture and storytelling to bring spaces to life in ways that feel both elevated and personal.

Every project begins with listening. I want to understand your vision, your space, and the feeling you want to create. From there, I design and paint with an eye for both beauty and craftsmanship, ensuring each piece is as enduring as it is expressive.

Whether it's a sweeping mural, wallscape, subtle surface treatment or a one-of-a-kind canvas, my goal is always the same: to create art that feels deeply connected to the people and places it's made for.
